About Cameron Watson:
Cameron Watson is the President of Artificial Turf of Texas, where he oversees day-to-day operations, develops strategic partnerships, generates new business opportunities, and ensures successful project delivery for clients. With over 10 years of experience in the synthetic turf industry, Cameron has developed a comprehensive understanding of artificial grass systems from installation and design to product sourcing and large-scale commercial sales. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Wesleyan University and currently leads the growing Texas-based company, which was founded in 2025 with a focus on sustainable landscaping solutions.
Cameron is a Certified Synthetic Turf Installer (CSTI) and brings hands-on knowledge from working in nearly every part of the turf industry, including installation, design consultation, product specialization, and residential and commercial sales. Earlier in his career, he helped launch the company IdealTurf and served as Director of Sales from 2017 to 2022. During this time, he led major commercial projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth region, including turf installations for three Costco commercial properties that helped reduce water usage and ongoing landscape maintenance costs. His work focuses on efficient installation methods, sustainable landscaping, and staying ahead of evolving turf technologies.
Cameron entered the synthetic turf industry after recognizing its long-term potential through a family business opportunity. At the time, artificial turf was still an emerging landscape option, but over the past decade he has witnessed it grow into a widely accepted and environmentally responsible solution. His professional philosophy is rooted in hands-on experience and resilience. As he often says, the real learning happens when challenges arise on the job. That mindset drives his commitment to training teams thoroughly, refining installation techniques, and delivering reliable results for every project.
Beyond his professional work, Cameron values community involvement and charitable engagement. He volunteers with the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and hopes to join the Fort Worth Syndicate group, which supports local charities through large-scale fundraising efforts. Outside of work, Cameron enjoys landscaping and maintaining outdoor spaces, taking pride in creating durable, sustainable environments that minimize waste. His personal goal of one day earning a “Yard of the Month” sign reflects the same dedication to craftsmanship and care that he brings to every client project.
